The Inbetweeners

Having been quite a big fan of the horrendously crude but hilarious tv show, I was quietly looking forward to The Inbetweeners movie. On the other hand I was aware that tv to film translations rarely live up to their small screen counterparts, so I went in expecting a standard episode, drawn out to one and half hours long crammed with the same staple sex jokes... and that's exactly what I got.

The movie basically follows the four Inbetweeners; Will, Jay, Neil and Simon as they embark on a sex searching holiday to Malia after A levels are finally over. The only real change to the series is the grander location and an attempt to step up on the controversy scale.

It does an acceptable job in bringing the series to a close and kept me amused throughout, even if the ending is frustratingly cliched. If you enjoyed the tv show you can't really go too wrong with this. [C+]
