Gran Torino follows the elderly Vietnam veteran Walt Kowalski, and his fight against a foreign gang in his neighbourhood who damage his (also foreign) neighbours lives. His old, prejudice manners must be put aside to fight for good.

In some ways Gran Torino felt like a homage to Clint Eastwood and his career. Whilst still a complete badass legend at the age of 80, it was moving knowing that his character probably reflected elements of his own life. Facing his age and the changing world around him. Clint easily steals the show with his performance and good direction.
It also deals with racist, prejudice issues very well, making very valid points about relevant matters of today. Whilst I admit some parts did drag on feeling a little pointless, overall this was impressive and certainly left a lasting impact. [B+]
