It looks wonderfully rich, colourful and alive, and you can tell by the subtle details that this has had the utmost of care. The characters are all pleasantly predictable, with the Tototos adding that iconic irresistible charm. (although the little sister Mei irritated me, and the cat bus just plain freaked me out!) Its also backed by a typical (but nice) anime soundtrack.
Its difficult to complain about a film that's as sweet as this. [B+]
