Superhero Summer!

As a little bit of a geeky comic book character fan I'm looking forward to what this summer has to offer! Yes, its more than likely that they'll be pretty standard films, but that doesn't stop me from enjoying the fun they have to offer, and seeing characters come to life on screen. The big four are Captain America, Thor, X men First Class and Green Lantern (possibly in order of anticipation).

The easiest to predict is probably X men, directed by Matthew Vaughn. With his recent experience on Kickass, and the back catalogue of X men films, this should be great fun with lots of new mutant faces. Maybe even the best X men yet!

Green Lantern is also pretty easy to predict... it looks a bit shit to be honest. Which is a shame because this may/will (?) lead up to a Justice League movie. You never know though, It may surprise me! This is based purely from the trailers!

Captain America and Thor are the most difficult to predict but if Iron Man is anything to go by (and I think it is) they should be a blast. Thor looks the most interesting but I think Captain America will be a more solid film out of the two. Its great to see two of Marvels best superheros hitting the screen though. This Avengers movie has a lot riding on it...cant wait!
